As we continue to navigate these difficult waters of Coronavirus, just a reminder that while persons may come to in person worship, we are asking everyone to think carefully. We want everyone to remain safe and take seriously our need to protect each other. We ask each of you to “self select” about attending worship.

  • If you have any symptoms of Covid-19 (cough, fever, aches, or loss of taste) please remain at home until you can be tested.
  • If you are over 65 or have other health issues, we advise you to continue worshiping virtually.

Additionally, if you do choose to join us for worship, please wear a mask throughout worship, refrain from singing, and practice social distance — keep 6’ apart and do not shake hands.

We appreciate your understanding through this difficult time.

Christ's Love

Welcome to Centenary UMC!  The congregation was founded in 1772,
inspired by the preaching of the Rev. Joseph Pilmore.
The current sanctuary building was completed in 1904, and renovated in 1966 and 2013.

Let our church family embrace yours!  You are a beloved child of God.
Come and share the love of Christ!

This Week at Centenary

Music is a universal part of religion because it appeals to and heightens human senses in a pleasurable way and allows humans to praise through a medium that makes worship more enjoyable.

GriefShare groups help you face challenges and move toward rebuilding your life.

GriefShare is a biblical, Christ-centered grief support group ministry.

Volunteering can give you

the opportunity to try something new, gain experience,

develop skills,

build confidence

and meet new people.

A church wedding will add a spiritual dimension to your marriage.

The ceremony includes

God and looks to him for help and guidance.

Join us for worship each Sunday
