I counted recently and this Sunday will mark 19 Sundays since our last "regular" worship service. I can't help but think of that ever-present question on a family trip, "are we there yet?" Is this thing over yet? We all so long for that time when things will feel normal again. I fear it is still a long way away. This week, Governor Cooper renewed his "safer at home" directive for another 3 weeks, even as he announced the possible return of students in some modified pattern. Please know that the whole worship team and I long to see your faces, to join with you in song, to have our voices joined in prayer and affirmation.
