Friday Greetings - November 13

There is a famous description of the task of faith as “comforting the afflicted and afflicting the comfortable.” This week, we turn to one of Jesus’ most famous parables, The Parable of the Talents, and seek to allow the words of Christ to afflict our comfortable patterns of life. I hope you will join us. We will be on Facebook at 8:30, 9:30, and 11:00 and hope to have all our radio issues solved and be on 97.9 (The Bear) at 11:00.

Please know that you may join us in person if you are comfortable doing so. The governor’s recent order does not limit attendance at religious gatherings. If you do attend, we ask all people to wear masks, use hand sanitizer, and practice social distancing. You are invited to “calculate your risk” with this tool from Brown University Alpert Medical School, if you are concerned.
