Friday Greetings - February 5

Nearly 30 years ago now, Stephen Covey published his bestselling work Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. Like many of the time, I was caught up in the fervor around his work. Among the habits he lifted up was “keeping the main thing the main thing.” What he meant by that was making sure that we don’t get distracted by all the activity, all the glitter of the moment. This week, we read a story from the gospel of Mark that reminds us the main thing in the life of Jesus and therefore in the life of the community of faith. I hope you will join us for worship. You are welcome to join us in person, if you feel comfortable in public settings. All 3 of our worship services are open to any who would like to attend. If you would prefer, you may join us on Facebook Live or on 97.9FM.
