Grace to all of you and peace in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
Throughout this season of transition, as my wife Mallory, our daughter Cate, and I have been buried under boxes and tubs over the past several weeks, we have been blessed by the welcome we have received. Through your help moving in, the food you provided, and the kind words so many of you have offered, we have been made to feel at home here in New Bern and in this
community of faith. So it is fitting that on Sunday, we will reflect on Jesus’ call for us to be a people of welcome and hospitality through my sermon, which is not-so-originally titled “Welcome Home.”
