Friday Greetings - October 13

Life can be hard. Sometimes, we have little or no control over our circumstances, and we feel powerless. Yet, even then we still have control of our attitude. How will we think about the bad things that happen to us? How should we face them? That's what I'll discuss Sunday in my sermon, "The Choice." The scriptures are Psalm 40:1-3 and Philippians 4:1-13. Join us for worship, and until then, meditate on these words of the Apostle Paul: "Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is pleasing, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things."
