Friday Greetings - March 19

There is all the difference in the world between being alone and being lonely. Being alone can be a time for reflection and renewal. Being lonely is, in the words of Walter Wangerin, “an existential misery." He writes, "loneliness is as debilitating as a cancer. It's like a parasite, a worm forever feeding in your vitals.” The lie of loneliness tells us this is the way life is meant to be. The truth of the Gospel tells us life can be more. Join us this week as we continue to reflect on the lies that surround us, that “feed on our vitals” as it were. Join us as we journey toward the cross and the empty tomb. Worship will be 8:30, 9:30, and 11:00. You are invited to join us in person or virtually by Facebook Live or 97.9FM.
