My mother frequently opines, “if I had known grandchildren were this much fun, I’d have had them first.” Now that we have a grandchild, (did I mention we have an adorable granddaughter? She is smart and beautiful — I have pictures) I have to say I agree. Children provide so much focus to our days and in many ways a purpose to our very being.
