Reminder Of
Our Preschool's
Illness Policies
-
Please contact your child’s teachers or the preschool director if your child becomes ill to ensure they can take extra precautions to sanitize the room.
-
Children must be fever, vomit, and diarrhea free for 24 hours without the aid of medication before returning to school.
-
Children who test positive for Covid-19, flu, strep, norovirus, or other contagious viruses must have a doctor’s note to return to school.
-
Handwashing will be assisted/supervised by a teacher upon
-
arrival, after each bathroom break, before snack, and throughout the day when needed.
-
Hand sanitizer will be used when hand washing isn’t available.
-
As an extra precaution against germs, each room is equipped with a medical-grade filtration H13 true HEPA air purifier.
-
The preschool recognizes that sharing “germs” for little ones is inevitable, especially in a classroom setting. The preschool will do their part by sanitizing, hand washing, and preventing as much “slobbery toy sharing” as possible. But they will also need you to do your part by keeping your child home if they or anyone in your family is sick!
-
Contagious diseases spread through families quickly (especially stomach bugs) AND then through the whole preschool. Waiting to make sure your preschooler is not going to get sick or is no longer contagious is that extra precaution that keeps everyone a little safer!
