For those of us who grew up attending church and youth group, there is something deeply sentimental about the hymn, “We Are One in the Spirit.” I remember singing it in so many youth group events, around campfires, holding candles, and all the rest. The refrain for that song sings, “they will know we are Christians by our love, by our love. Yes, they will know we are Christians by our love.” The sad truth is, too many that surround us don’t. Join us this week as we hear again the challenging words of Jesus, “love your enemies.” Join us as we remind ourselves that he lived those words and means for us to do so as well.
