Friday Greetings - January 6

The fact that our Lord was baptized means that baptism isn't just about "washing away sin," because Jesus was sinless. For one thing, His baptism was God's affirmation of his identity as the Messiah. "Affirmation" ... what is it? Does God affirm us, too? And are we supposed to affirm each other? Come to worship this coming Sunday to find out. I'm preaching from Matthew 3:13-17.
