Friday Greetings - May 12

Grace and Peace in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.

Happy Mother's Day! What do those words invoke in you? For me, it's my own mom's grace and determination, both of my grandmother's unconditional love, my sister stepping in place of mom when I was younger and making an unwise decision, my countless aunts who were always there to fill that instinctive motherly role. There are others...there's my mom's friends Vicki, Patti and Shari who were always willing to tell me to slow down my car...with the 'I saw how fast you were driving on Broad St.' in Edenton back when I was in my teenage years. I am blessed to have these women of importance in my life.
