Preserving Our Legacy, Building Our Future

On Homecoming Sunday, Centenary Lay Leader Si Seymour introduced our church family to a new initiative to help us be financially strong for many years to come. “Preserving Our Legacy, Building Our Future” is a capital funds campaign to raise $800,000 over the next three years. $500,000 will go toward retiring the remaining debt incurred from the extensive facility renovations that were part of Centenary’s 250th Anniversary. $300,000 will go into a capital reserve fund for expensive repairs and renovations that may arise in coming years (elevator repair/replacement, roof repair/replacement, handicapped accessibility improvements, etc.).

This week we will continue to share more about this initiative in worship as we reflect on Centenary's present through testimonies and the message. As always, we'll focus on how we are living out the Great Commission: making disciples of Jesus Christ and transforming the world to more fully reflect God's Kingdom!
