Friday Greetings - September 11

Football season is upon us, which means many of us - myself included - will be hanging on every first down and every touchdown. We want our teams to win and other teams to lose.

And sometimes, I think we bring that mindset into our lives. We keep score of the failings of others and tally them against ours. We think that in order to "win" in the game of life, others must lose. They lose by their mistakes and failings, and we tally up their failures and faults against ours, and as long as we have less, we win! But thanks be to God that Jesus offers us another way. Join us this Sunday in person or online at 8:30, 9:00, or 11:00 as we reflect on that way of grace that Jesus shows us!
