Do you live in the past? Do you spend a lot of time remembering the good old days when life was simpler, and you were happier? Or do you live in the future? Do you spend a lot of time planning for tomorrow, anxiously imagining how things might turn out?
Here’s the thing: Yesterday is gone and tomorrow may not come. You can’t live in either one. TODAY is the only day you have. How do you want to live it? Immersed in nostalgia or sorrow? Worried about what might happen?
Or do you want to live in this present moment, taking care not to miss a single second of joy, truth, beauty, or love? Jesus had a good word for us about this very subject. Come and worship at Centenary this Sunday. Welcome home!
