Centenary United Methodist has the reputation—not only in New Bern but across North Carolina—of being a church where Jesus is lifted up through beautiful, inspiring music. This Sunday will be no exception. As part of our church’s 250th anniversary, Dr. Monica Harper Dekle, who served as Director of Music and Organist here from 2009-11, will play at both the 830 and 1100 services. She will then perform Sunday afternoon at 400. Dr. Dekle currently serves as Director of Music and Organist at Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church in Savannah, Georgia. Come welcome Monica, her husband Andrew, and their son Remington!
