Join us for a special day of worship and fellowship as we celebrate Homecoming this Sunday on October 29, 2023. We will gather as a church family for one worship service at 11:00 a.m., where the Rev. Susan Pate Greenwood, who served as the lead pastor at Centenary from 2007-2019, will deliver the message.
The Centenary instrumental ensemble will perform gathering music on the sanctuary steps before worship. Many other gifted musicians and ensembles that call Centenary home will provide the music during worship, including the children's choir, youth choir, Handbell choir, Sanctuary choir, the Centenary praise band, and The Faith We Sing ensemble.
During worship, we will welcome home to Centenary old friends, new friends, lifelong members, and many new members joining our church family that day!
Directly following worship, we will share in a covered-dish fellowship meal! Barbecue and chicken will be provided. We invite you to bring sides, desserts, and a friend as we gather for this special time of worship and fellowship.
(When bringing your covered dishes, please ensure your dish is labeled with your name, as well as a serving spoon, or warming container. We want to ensure you receive your items back. Also, please note if your dish needs to be warmed or kept cold.)
